Jeff Chamberlain, DDS
Jeff grew up in Santa Clara, California and later married Janet, his high school sweetheart, in 1973 while studying nutritional science at UC Berkeley. He then graduated from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1978. After raising three kids and running a dental practice in Santa Rosa for 29 years, Jeff and Janet decided to follow their dream of living and working in South Lake Tahoe. He purchased the practice from Dr. Elizabeth Swope in June, 2008 and plans to continue the long history of providing quality and compassionate dental care for the residents of South Lake Tahoe, Meyers and surrounding communities.
In his leisure time, Jeff enjoys hiking with Janet and their two dogs (one of which they are raising to be a companion dog for Canine Companions), as well as mountain biking, skiing and fishing. Jeff is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Sacramento District Dental Society.

Kristal J Hertel, Registered Dental Hygienist, AS, AAS
Kristal was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, she joined the US Air Force where she met her husband Chris, a South Lake Tahoe native. Upon completion of their military service they moved back to Tahoe in 2000 where Kristal pursued her dental hygiene career through Lake Tahoe Community college and graduating from the dental hygiene program at Truckee Meadows Community college in Reno in 2007.
Kristal is a devoted wife, mother of two and a runner. In her leisure time Kristal and her family enjoy many of the amenities Tahoe has to offer including: skiing, hiking, biking and camping. Kristal is a proud member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and is licensed in California and Nevada. Her mission in dental hygiene is to make patients as comfortable as possible while recognizing that everyone has different dental needs and goals.
